Vivo confirms new mid-range smartphone model

Vivo has announced that it will launch a new mid-range smartphone. A list of certifications confirms that the phone, which is scheduled to be released soon, will be the Y27 5G model.
The previous month, we shared that Vivo’s Y27 model was featured in various online listings. While these listings show key features of the device on the Google Play Console , they were also displayed on the NCC website . The latter offered live images of the device ahead of its official launch. This time, Vivo’s new Y27 5G model has also taken its place in EEC certification. According to this listing, the device will carry the model number V2302.

Based on past reports, we guess that Vivo Y27 5G will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It is worth noting that the Dimensity 700 can be rebranded as the Dimensity 6020 chipset. Also, out of the box, the new device will come with Android 13- based FunTouchOS 13 operating system. According to the information in the Google Play Console list , the chipset will be used with 6 GB of RAM and the device will have a screen with Full HD + resolution and 440 ppi screen density.
Again, rumors from the past suggest that Vivo’s new Y27 model could be a rebranded version of the Y36 5G. If this information is correct, we can expect that the Y27 will carry a 6.44-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Other prominent features include a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with LED flash. Additionally, it is expected to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
